COURSE DESCRIPTION
Learn the proper warm-up, stretching, all the details about the boxing stance, and all the secrets related to the jab & cross.
Warm-up
Don't skip the warm-up. Every session, on every module, start with the warm-up and stretching before anything else. It's what prepares your body for the training ahead, and skipping it is how you get hurt. An injury will cost you far more training time than the warm-up ever will — take this part seriously.
Stance
Feet, knees, hips, shoulders, arms, head, hands and elbows — the full stance, broken down drill by drill.
Footwork
One of the most important parts of the training. Get this right and you'll feel it everywhere else — in your defense, your balance, your power.
We cover simple steps, hops forward and backward, alignment, basic slips and weaves, head position, arm and shoulder position, peripheral vision, balance, timing, shadow boxing, and moving in stance without punching — all building toward using the ring itself.
Take your time with the stance. Come back to it any time something feels off later in your training — everything else you learn depends on how solid it is.
Jab
Your first punch, done properly.
A summary video ties it all together: the drills, moving forward and back with both cross-step methods, why the right side matters, and your defense after the jab — stepping back, slipping and weaving left and right. You'll also shadow box the jab on its own, both head and body.
Cross — Straight Right (for righties), Straight Left (for lefties)
To round out Module I: the cross. What it looks like, how it should feel, the rotation drills, and moving forward and back with both cross-step methods.
